Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo is “concerned” after the club were charge with breaching the Premier League’s financial regulations yesterday.
Forest have been referre to an independent commission alongside Everton. After their 2022-23 accounts allegedly fell short of thresholds detailed in the league’s profitability and sustainability rules.
Points deductions and fines could come into effect if either are found guilty. And the Portuguese coach admits he and his players are naturally worry by off-field events.
Nuno said: “We are all concerned in the club. But me as a coach, it’s nothing I have to think about or deal with.
“My job is clear, it is to prepare the team and that’s what we are focus on.
“Today we will train and we know the players know the situation. But I’ll tell them the same as I’m telling you — forget about this and focus on our job. Everyone has to wait until the decision comes and when it does we’re here to deal with that.” Report by สมัคร ufabet
Nuno Espirito Santo has been appoint as the new Nottingham Forest head coach following Steve Cooper’s departure.
Forest made the decision to sack Cooper after more than two years in charge with the club 17th in the Premier League following a run of one win in 13 matches.
He is replace by Nuno, who last month left his job as manager of Al Ittihad. Whom he led to last season’s league title in Saudi Arabia.
