I have been very lucky in avoiding the extreme heat that a St. Louis summer can bring . . . . until the last few weeks. I’m pretty sure it’s 102 degrees right now and my
ankles cankles want to swell up just thinking about it. It seems like cruel and unusual punishment for a heat wave to hit the week after all the pools close.
Rather than going on and on about the weather, like us St. Lousians just love to do, I’m channeling my bitterness towards mother nature into dreaming about some of my favorite fall recipes that I’ve shared here on Food Snob St. Louis.
