Have you heard about Tyler Florence’s new baby food products: Sprout Organic Baby Food?
Sprout foods are made with 100% organic ingredients and have no added sugars, fillers, or preservatives. They roast or bake most of the food to help maintain the best flavor and texture of the baby food.
The Sprout website is also full of great resources. You can read more on how Tyler Florence developed this line of baby food, how the company is striving to reduce its carbon footprint, watch videos of Tyler making the food, and much more. They even have a week-by-week guide of starting solids.
I was sent four different flavors of Sprout baby and toddler food to try with Baby Snob. The verdict: She loved them all. Her favorite by far, though, was the carrot, apple and mango flavor.
Now, I make about 80% of our baby food, but what I love about this baby food line is Sprout food is all packaged in the convenient BPA-free pouches with screw on toppers. You can easily throw them in your purse or diaper bag and have a healthy, organic meal for your child on the go. The toddler meals also come in easy, heat-and-serve packaging and provides a variety of key nutrients and different textures for little ones to try.
After spending nearly an hour reading labels in the baby food aisle, I can really appreciate a product that uses 100% organic ingredients, no fillers, no added sugars and no preservatives. It makes me feel much better about feeding her packaged baby food on those hectic days when we don’t have homemade options.
