You may of remembered me mentioning that I now blog for Ergobaby, and you’ve probably seen the original Ergobaby carrier in a few of my Snobby Mommy blog posts. That is because I cannot say enough wonderful things about this carrier!
W purchased the carrier and infant insert prior to having Baby Snob, and it is the only carrier we used since. As a baby, she fit snugly in the infant insert and often napped in it. Now as a bigger baby (almost 8 months!) she likes to be carried in the back position while I cook or for walks around the neighborhood.

It was also a lifesaver on our trip to Switzerland.

I’ve always wondered, how do you buckle the back of the Ergobaby when you wear the baby on the front?
Aimee – I buckle the waist band first. Then I loosen the arm straps and the back shoulder buckle strap. Next, I put the arm straps on and buckle the back shoulder buckle. Then I slide the baby in and tighten all the straps. That is without the infant insert. It’s a little trickier with the insert. I didn’t slide her in from the top like I do now. I put on strap on, held her to my chest in the insert and then the other strap. Tightened the the straps and then did the shoulder buckle. I hope that helps!
