My Everyday Life Week #6

Another week in the books.  This week we attempted, unsuccessfully, to finish our moat project, ushered in fall, made granola, and practiced waving.

I saw this mustache and monocle van on a walk.  Brilliant.  Also, can we discuss how horrible an Android camera is in comparison to an iPhone camera?

I spy a new running store in St. Louis.  I am very excited to check it out.

I did a Please & Thank You presentation for a girl scout troop.  These crayon place card holders were a huge hit!

We had 3 tons of rocks delivered to finish our moat project.

Unfortunately, the dump truck snapped our neighbor’s phone and cable line, and it was laying across the street.  A concerned citizen took it upon herself to call 911 and honk at everyone attempting to drive down the street . . . so honking and fire engine + screaming baby + a dog that got loose + hold music from AT&T made for an extremely stressful 45 minutes.

We practiced waving by the front porch.

Planning a very exciting event for 2013 with friends + wine.

Beginnings of granola.  Recipe to come. . .

Tell me, what was great about your week?

  1. ooh i’m excited to check out that running store too! can’t wait to see that granola recipe :)

our week was great because even though weddings and vacations are fun, it’s been nice to settle back into normal life and cook normal food again!
